Or, The Lady Who Made Love to My Starbucks

Up and at ‘em bright and early isn’t really a problem for me but it’s always nice to have a little caffeine assistance to catalyze the process. My chemical dependence landed me in a seedy Starbucks drive-thru a couple weeks ago, getting a little taste for a 7am commercial shoot. Unfortunately, I was running a touch behind and barely landed on location when it was go time, so I set down the poison and hopped to it.

Fatal mistake.

After the first few takes I went to retrieve my coffee, only to find it smothered in bright red lipstick and bone dry. The culprit was standing over the carcass, and when I looked at her with a raised eyebrow, she supplied a full confession, apologized, not sure what came over her, blah blah blah. Once she honed in on my mocha, her instincts took over and that, as they say, was that.

Incredibly, I believed her. More incredible yet is that this phenomenon exists. I was beyond jealous. I want to make things like that. I want to create something that can be lusted after so strongly that one look and you switch over autopilot with a singular mission: consume.
